A celebration of the start of my photography journey.
Exactly one year ago, on the 25th June 2021, I captured an image of an African Spoonbill in flight at the Korsmans Bird Sanctuary in Benoni with a borrowed camera. I was so inspired that I went out the next day and bought my very first camera. This was the start of my photographic journey.

During my first year as a photographer, I have learned a lot and I hope to learn a whole lot more in the coming year ahead.
My passion has been ignited and that flame will burn bright well into my retirement.
Adding a new style to my existing photography style in my second year
As I enter my second year on this journey, I have decided to add another style to my existing photography style and the images below are the first of my new style. These images were taken at Korsmans on the anniversary of the start of my photograhic journey.
